Hemlock was once again honored for both its leadership in sustainability and the quality of its work at the 14th annual Canadian Printing Awards. Hosted by PrintAction Magazine, the Canadian Printing Awards showcases excellence in quality printing, environmental initiatives and industry contribution. Hemlock’s VP of Sales and Marketing, Doug Climie, Marketing Manager, Colleen Moyles, and Sustainability Coordinator, Amanda Chor were in attendance on November 7th in Toronto, ON representing Hemlock and celebrating Canadian print excellence. In total, Hemlock won 12 awards during the evening in various print and environmental excellence categories, including Best of Show from over 300 submissions.
Hemlock was also recognized with Gold for Most Environmentally Progressive Printing Company and Most Environmentally Progressive Printing Project. “It is an absolute honour to receive Gold in these two categories,” says Amanda Chor. “Our sustainability story has been built over years of commitment from our dedicated staff, leadership, non-profit organizations and community partnerships and we are eager to build on this remarkable foundation as we continue to expand on this critical aspect of our business”.
