The Kodak Square Spot technology and thermal laser imaging enables Hemlock to take advantage of the unique Kodak Staccato process. Stochastic screening resolutions as fine as 10 micron spot sizes — equivalent to approximately 600 line screen — can be achieved with this FM screening process. The high-resolution printing is controlled by the end-to-end workflow solution with colour managed digital proofing. The results are predictable presswork with an expanded colour gamut and exact rendering of fine detail of the entire tonal scale — a designer’s vision faithfully realized on paper.
