Offset Printing

Our pressroom is the heart of Hemlock, where we do what we do best. There, the best equipment is staffed by the industry’s best people. Hemlock’s pressroom is exclusively Heidelberg Speedmaster. Each press is equipped with Computer Print Control (CPC) and electronic plate scanning. Our ten-colour press, eight-colour press, and two six-colour presses can also apply in-line, recyclable and biodegradable aqueous coating in dull, satin, gloss and new “Touch” finishes.

Complete technical compatibility between our three 40" presses, one 29" press and one 20" press affords Hemlock tremendous flexibility in how we can produce a job or adapt to last minute changes in the customer’s schedule. Our clients benefit from our ability to apply in-line aqueous coating on all three press sizes. Another benefit is Hemlock’s capability for “one-pass printing”, as four of our five presses can print both sides of the sheet in one pass through the press. With such an extensive array of quality equipment, we can assign two, three or more presses to meet a pressing deadline, or to reduce the time spent in press checks for out-of-town customers. Our system of flexible work shifts, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is designed to meet precisely timed delivery requirements.
